Exciting News: Synth Swap Under New Ownership!

Dear Musician,

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to take a moment to share some important news with you.

Due to personal reasons, Miikka and Tom, the founders of Synth Swap, have found it challenging to dedicate the time needed to further develop our beloved platform. However, we're thrilled to announce that we've found a new owner who shares our passion for music and community: Henry Geissel!

You might already know Henry as one of our top lenders on the platform. He will continue to offer a diverse and growing selection of items to rent that we are sure you’ll be happy with.

As we transition, we will for now remove listings from other lenders and stop operating as a marketplace. This decision comes after careful consideration, as we've observed that 90% of listed items unfortunately never found renters, making the costs and efforts of running the marketplace not at all sustainable.

We will continue to manage all ongoing rentals until they’ve been returned to lenders. We’ll announce the closure of our Lender Portal at a later date.

While we navigate this transition, Miikka and Tom will remain as advisors to Synth Swap. Together with Henry, we're committed to exploring innovative ideas to foster communal sharing in the future. We recognize the appeal of swapping instruments among our vibrant community and are dedicated to finding attractive and feasible solutions.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support and loyalty throughout this journey. Synth Swap wouldn't be the community it is without you, and we're incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.
